Daily DeMark Deleted

I am the author of the (former) blog "The Daily DeMark." The blog was removed from Wordpress on October 3, 2009. The blog was deleted because legal action was threatened by Tom DeMark and his company Market Studies, LLC. Their concern was that the blog was set up to be a source of "official" information.

If you have found this blog looking for the Daily DeMark, and would like to be notified of any future writing by this author, please leave a comment and I will be in touch with you.

Hello!

My name is Richard Walsh and I am a professional Money Manager in Montreal. I have used Tom's Indicators for well over 15 years, and they are the corner stone for our investment process. I often search for current info on DeMark and his indicators, and I really liked your site. You can reach me at rick696901@hotmail.com.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I would be very interested in hearing/reading about your analysis of DeMark studies

I also enjoyed "The Daily DeMark". It is a shame that Mr. DeMark won't let your blog continue. If you are ever able to resume, please let me know. Thanks, and I am appreciative for your info. By the way, I have purchased Mr. DeMark's New Market Timing Techniques and a series of videotapes of lectures he gave on his studies, but your information was more direct and precise, and clarified his concepts.

Dan, GD here.
As I said, you explain things in a better way than Tom's books. Well let me re-phrase, in a way that I can understand better. Where have you been these days? I don't see you at DDT's room. Come and check out DDT's blog. We need you.

Are you sure you needed to delete your blog because of your content? I find it more likely that the name of your blog infringed on DeMark's trademark because a "consumer" may have mistakenly thought your blog was being written by Tom DeMark based on the title alone and your legal disclaimer made no mention that you were not affiliated with Tom DeMark and that your site was for educational purposes only.

I would be interested in seeing the language of the cease and desist order sent to you, if you wouldn't mind posting it on your blog.

With the proper disclaimers and a new name that does not mention DeMark, I think you would be able to continue your blog.

Best of luck.

If you would like to contact me directly... Please leave your email address in the comment. I will email you back and delete your email from my comment stream ASAP... I know that leaving your email address on comment streams is a bit unnerving.

I would be interested in discussing future writing, as well as collobaration. I am currently in a massive project with several associates... we are coding the DeMark indicators for private use. So far we have exact matches for TD REI, TD Sequential, DeMarker I, TD MA I, and are in process with several others.

Thanks.
